Notes on "Duke Nukem 3D"

I played "Duke Nukem 3D" a lot in the 1990s, but after that I didn't feel like getting back to it. However, at €1.99 I might play a couple of levels.

I quickly played the first two levels, which I know by the heart, to see how well the remaster was done. It's solid, with full 3D (which means they use a different renderer) and gyroaiming (which should be the standard, to be honest). It's still fun to play after these 29 years. I was afraid it would be cringy, due to Duke's machismo, but the gameplay sucked me in enough for it to not matter. The strippers were funnier when I was 13, though.
