"Flashback" is amazing. I deactivated all the visual effects but bloom, and it's very crispy. The biggest weirdness is jumping with the up movement, however, all the mishaps can be painlessly retried with the rewind functionality.

I really liked the plot because it's not that primitive, like the whole looking for jobs to get money to forge papers to take a part in the TV show to win a ticket to Earth. Really putting cinematic in a cinematic platformer.

I have finished "Flashback," but oh my, the final level was very frustrating due to lack of clear path and controls: I had to consult a walkthrough a couple of times and fights were terrible because I was dying in 3/4 cases due to laggy responsiveness.

I guess that's how they were doing them games back then, but in the end, I just wanted it to end already. And I did. It probably went better than it would have 30 years ago (no rewind!).
